  • Restocking Fee: $0.00 (Zero Restocking Fees) on all eligible returns.
  • Customer Remorse (Changed mind / Wrong item ordered): Buyer is responsible for the return shipping label fee.
  • Defective / Damaged / Incorrect Item: 100% covered by IdioTax with a free prepaid return label.
  • Refund Processing Time: 3–5 business days to the original payment method after inspection.

1. Eligibility Conditions for Returns

To qualify for a refund under our 30-day policy, returned merchandise must satisfy the following criteria:

  • The item must be in its original, unused, and undamaged condition.
  • All original manufacturer packaging, protective wrappers, tags, accessories, and instruction manuals must be included intact.
  • The return request must be initiated within 30 days of confirmed carrier delivery.

3. Step-by-Step Return Process

  1. Request Return Authorization: Email support@idiotax.com with your Order Number (e.g. #370) and reason for return.
  2. Receive RMA & Instructions: Our support team will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and designated return instructions within 24 business hours.
  3. Pack & Ship: Securely place the item in sturdy packaging with the RMA clearly written on the outer box label. Ship to our Houston warehouse facility.
  4. Inspection & Refund: Once received, our quality control team inspects the item within 2 business days. Your refund will be credited directly to your original Credit Card within 3–5 business days.
